Bilesim has presented the smaller size of prepaid KGS cards which will be more convenient and bring ease-of-use for the customers of Ziraatbank and Halkbank. Because of its gimmick in size, Mini KGS will be popular to use out of the wallets with various advertising speciality apparatuses such as keyrings. There is no difference in contactless infrastructure of Mini KGS from standart size type. Drivers can make bridge and higway toll payments by closing up their cards to the readers from a distance approximately 5-10 cm. May 2007

KGS Credit Card Has Now Dual Chip
Bilesim completed the essential phase of KGS project gathering two functions in one plastic. KGS firstly launched enabling contactless prepaid card and magnetic stripe credit card usage on the terminals along the highways and two bridges in Turkey . After the EMV migration, new enhancements for PIN security were needed on credit KGS since it is also used for purchase and cash advance. Therefore magnetic stripe credit KGS converted into a chip KGS in addition to its contactless chip found inside the plastic itself. KGS credit card has now dual chip. Recently, the card technology has focused on contactless infrastructure which opens gates to more functional features for purchase and cash transactions processings. In line with the sectoral developments, Bilesim will be continuing to work on projects based on productions and creations of new financial and nonfinancial solutions on multifunctional cards. An important miles setting the zone for the further stabilization of the Turkish economy was the approval of law which will remove six zeros from the currency.
