New Agricultural Banking Application Başak Card is in to Service. New agricultural banking implementation, Basak Card, aiming at letting real person/individual customers use agricultural credit limits with debitcard advantages; and extending T.C. Ziraat Bankasi A.S. customer portfolio to include both firms producing/exporting and vendors selling agricultural input, has been started. September 2008

New agricultural banking implementation, Basak Card, aiming at letting real person/individual customers use agricultural credit limits with debitcard advantages; and extending T.C. Ziraat Bankasi A.S. customer portfolio to include both firms producing/exporting and vendors selling agricultural input, has been started. Basak Card Pilot implementations were launched firstly in 10 branches of Antalya Regional Presidency hinterland on 13.06.2008, followed by Antalya, Trabzon, Konya, İzmir 1. ,İzmir 2. Regional Presidencies on 18.08.2008. As a result of positive developments in pilot implementation, as of 18.09.2008 pilot study has ended and the use of Basak Card has been generalized to country.
