Visa Challenge 2009’s results, which was held within Visa Europe member banks between 12 Jan – 25 Mar 2009, were announced on 30 Mar 2009.
Visa Challenge, an advanced business teamwork game simulation that helps to implement and to enhance the analytical and strategic ability to make decisions, which is managed over internet on www.visachallenge.com was completed. Visa Challenge 2009 was conducted with the participation of 560 competitor teams that are established among member banks of Visa Europe. As a teamwork game, Visa Challenge, orients the participants to consider themselves as decision-makers in the credit card world, helps to improve sense of competition while also provides fun. Within Visa Challenge 2009; card application process, card limit’s assignments, credit scoring, loyalty campaigns, fraud, chargeback, collection, call center, accounting, and card print operations have been simulated in all phases, and at the end of each round the participant teams had to found out a card programme and declare their decisions and programme to be performed virtually, and after comparison with the other teams’ virtual programmes in the competition, each team has got a degree upon their statement’s of profit and loss.
During Visa Challenge 2009, our company was represented by our chargback department’s team named “Chargist”. Sezgin Kurt, Pınar Yaylalı, Yaprak Kaplan and Fatma Cengiz were in this team and they got 1.st degree among the Ziraat Bank’s competitor teams, 3rd degree among the third party companies, 3rd degree among the competitor banks from whole Turkey, and finally completed the competition as 31st in overall.
